Hello! I’m Sydney, HUman Design Specialist and Founder of Soul Meets Body.
I’m Sydney — a 6/2 Emotional Projector, a Libra rising, Aquarius sun and moon, and a lifelong student of the unseen energetics that shape who we are. I’m also a Human Design guide and my work is rooted in helping you return to your body’s wisdom: the place where clarity, trust, and soul-alignment live.
I stumbled upon Human Design & Astrology in 2019, and it gave me a completely new way of understanding myself. Since then, I’ve been immersed in studying it, applying it to my own life, and slowly unraveling everything I thought I had to be in order to become who I actually am.
Before discovering Human Design, I completed my bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Human Development & Family Studies at Penn State University. I’ve always been deeply curious about people — what shapes us, how we grow, and why we are the way we are. But when I found Human Design and Astrology, it felt like something clicked into place. These systems offered a language and depth that I didn’t even know was missing from my academic studies. Something that wove together the mind, body, and soul in a way I’d always sensed but hadn’t yet found words for.
When I discovered I was a Projector in Human Design and what that really meant, so much of my life began to make sense. I finally understood why I often felt out of step with the hustle-hard world around me. Human Design gave me permission to live the way I had always naturally leaned toward but had been told was lazy: working from bed (where, honestly, some of my best insights happen), waiting for invitations instead of pushing, and trusting the energetic space to know when my wisdom is welcome. It helped me honor my personal rhythms, value my presence, and lean fully into my natural talents.
What began as a quiet curiosity turned into a calling: a map back to myself, and now, a way I help others find their own inner compass.
Soul Meets Body was originally born in 2020 shortly after completing my Reiki Masters. It was first created as a space for distance Reiki and spiritual insights. While the tools have shifted, the mission has stayed the same: to help people remember who they are. Human Design gave me language for what I had always felt, and now I share that language through human design readings and through insights on my podcast Stellar Sisters.
I grew up in northern Delaware and have wandered far over the years from France to New York to California to Maryland. These days, I’ve found my way back to the East Coast, settling in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA with my wonderfully supportive husband, our joyful three-year-old daughter, and our dog (who, let’s be honest, runs the house).
I’m endlessly grateful to have Human Design as a guide not only in my work, but in my motherhood journey. Parenting my emotional Manifesting Generator daughter through this lens has been life-changing. It’s helped me understand how her energy moves so differently from mine, and has taught me to support her without projecting my own rhythm onto her. As a Projector, I need space to wait and rest. She’s designed to move fast, respond, and explore in bursts. Knowing this has shifted how I parent, how I listen, and how I trust both of our designs to be exactly right.
